It's all right as you said in the blog.But this time things didn't go well for Russia.Arshavin-Pavluchenko combination did not run well in the all important semis against Spain. May be some psychological barrier was there since Russia lost 4-1 to Spain in Group match. But the 3-0 drubbing of Russia in the hand of Spain in the semis only reflect that Spain was neither confined to a definite style of play nor dependent on any particular player. That's what I think proved to be vital in the end.
